is a series that challenges the boundaries within contemporary art and its representation of Nature.

Each Closure is made using found strechers (or frame) and other found objects,  and weaved together using found ropes of yarns of various sorts.   “Closed” Closures are works that are finished, introspective, inviting the viewers to examine the materials within their inter-relations. “Open” Closures are works that are open-ended, and take longer for the artist to finish. These use minimal materials to provoke memory of Nature without the underpinning of any cultural context.
